For centuries we have been spoon fed by our books, our saints. That means we live on words and our life is shallow and empty. We are second-hand people. We are the result of all kinds of influences and there is nothing new in us, nothing that we have discovered for ourselves, nothing original, pristine, clear.
The primary cause of disorder in ourselves is the seeking of reality promised by another; we mechanically follow somebody who will assure us a comfortable, spiritual life.
To understand yourself is the beginning of wisdom. What is important is not a philosophy of life, but to observe what is actually taking place in our daily life, inwardly and outwardly.
In trying to conform to the ideology, you suppress yourself whereas what is actually true is not the ideology but what you are. If you try to study yourself according to another you will always remain a second hand human being.
A mind that has no fear is capable of great love. And when there is love it can do what it will.
We are going to learn what we actually are.
To be free of all authority, of your own and that of another, is to die to everything of yesterday, so that your mind is fresh, always young, innocent, full of vigor and passion.
A human being is fully equipped with all necessary powers, but does not know their usage. The moment he comes in touch with the healing potentials within, he can heal himself.
